No question that the most famous drag racing name ever to come out of the "La Belle Province" is Montreal's Alban Gauthier. Gauthier was best known for his tooling around in NHRA's Pro Stock class during the late 1980's and early 1990's with his Action Performance-backed Pontiacs. Gauthier never found victory lane on the NHRA tour -- but he still managed to gave Canadian fans something to cheer about at national event races.
