NEW CANADIAN TRUCK
Fans attending the upcoming NHRA Summit Las Vegas Nationals will get to see the debut of a new Canadian Pro Stock Truck owned and driven by Calgary's Rick DiStefano. DiStefano has taken delivery of a new Rick Jones built Chevy S-10 and will run Steve Schmidt power. DiStefano who is best known for his supercharged Chevy Camaro in Pro Modified optioned out of that class a couple of years ago. He plans to license in and test the new truck at Tuscon Arizona before heading to Las Vegas -- which will be his first ever NHRA national event start. Dragracecanada will feature images and a team profile on DiStefano after the Las Vegas event...

ECOSSE MOTORSPORTS S-10 . . .
Ian and Janis Rae of Oakville, ON, are building a 2000 Chevy S-10 for the Pro Comp class of the Canadian Drag Racing Series. The team consists of Crew Chief Ed Oster, Ann Roth, Grant Osborne, Chris Barlow and Mark Paschen. To help them reach their goals the team is being assisted by Art Morrison Enterprises, Steve Grebeck Racecraft Engineering, Power Systems Group (Oakville, On) and The Performance Cellar (Stoney Creek, ON). The S-10 will feature a 540 Chevy built by Fioravanti Custom Engines (Jordan Station,ON).
