| LONE RANGER RIDES! . . . |
. . . Glen May’s much anticipated Pro Mod ‘99 Ford Ranger -- the first of it’s kind -- made it’s debut during the IHRA Mopar World Nationals (Aug. 27-29th). The all new "Cranberry Connection" looked good and ran well collecting the "Editor’s Choice" award from Drag Review Magazine and running a best of 6.400 secs and 215.96 mph to qualify 5th. May’s promising new machine shook it’s tires in round one and lost.

| WICKED IN WHITE . . . |
. . . The formidable Canadian Super Stock racing duo of Glen Stahle and his talented driver Richard Mowatt have hit the trail in 1999 with a spanking new Smith Performance Specialties ‘99 Firebird.
Running in GT/AA trim with a 454 CID motor the slick new machine have carded a best of 9.65 secs at over 138 mph in testing. The team (which is based from Waterloo) recently won the best engineered car award at their very first NHRA points race with the car (at Quaker City, PA.) Keep your eyes on this one!
