NitroMoose.ca to Host a Screwy Affair!

 Fans attending the IHRA’s Cars RV Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals at Edmonton Alberta this coming weekend will be witness to some drag racing history.
For the first time ever during an IHRA national event Top Alcohol Dragsters will be featured. NitroMoose.ca, the sister company to DragRaceCanada.com is behind the effort which is meant to be a demonstration. Two premium northern Alberta-based Top Alcohol drivers, Ed Douglas (EDW Racing/NitroMoose Motorsports) and Greg Sereda (World Financial Group/Sereda Motorsports) will make a series of exhibition runs.
 “We are very thankful to Ed Douglas and Greg Sereda and also to their valued sponsors, Vision Corporation and World Financial Group for working with us to make this happen,” said Bruce Biegler, owner of NitroMoose.ca. “Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest U.S. have incredible talents in this class and I’ve always felt it was a shame that these TAD class racers could not participate at the only IHRA national event held in their region. But thanks to the continued vision of both Rob Reeves at Castrol Raceway and the flexibility and support of IHRA management we are going present screw blower supercharged alcohol racing for the first time. Our intention is to grow this concept to potentially present an expanded eliminator for the 2008 race in Edmonton.”
Ed Douglas drives a Brad Hadman chassis which features a PSI supercharged Keith Black motor. Sereda will be behind the wheel of a Fritz-chassied car which is powered by a PSI supercharged TFX motor.
