WCPMA Stampedes Into Calgary -- This Weekend
WCPMA - July 17, 2007
The West Coast Pro Mod Association is headed to Calgary, Alberta, Canada
this weekend for their third stop of the 2007 season at Race City
Motorsports Park July 21-22.
The Drag Race fans in Calgary, Alberta are just recovering from their
World
Famous Stampede Weekend and are about to be treated with 6 second Pro
Mods
that are ready to go well over 200 mph!
In 2006 the WCPMA Championship was decided here in Calgary as home town
speed demon Joe Delehay won the event and the 2006 Championship at the
same
time. "We hope to win this event again as it is our home crowd" says
Delehay, "To win last year at this race and win the Championship was
truly
amazing".
Drivers that are expected to be attending the event are Tim Vogt, 2006
WCPMA
Champion Joe Delehay, Tom Meheden, Dan Vogt, and current West Coast
Pro Mod
Points leader Trevor Lowe are all in a close chase for the 2007
Championship
already after two races.
