Delehay Repeats as WCPMA Champ!

 This West Coast Pro Mods rocked Billings, Montana recently as an amazing crowed witnessed the crowning of the 2007 West Coast Pro Mod Champion Joe Delehay, and saw runner up in the points chase and fellow Canadian Trevor Lowe win the event.
The back-to-back West Coast Pro Mod Champion Joe Delehay had his fair share of problems this weekend as he was crowned the WCPMA Champion for the second time in a row, "We found out that our fly wheel was cracked after qualifying" said Delehay, "fortunitly for us Byron Mackey let us use his clutch and flywheel so that we could run in eliminations", "If it wasn't for Mackey we wouldnt be the '07 Champs".

1. Joe Delehay - 6.362 @ 221.82 mph
2. Trevor Lowe - 6.370 @ 223.91 mph
3. Dan Vogt - 6.616 @ 208.46 mph
4. Vern Mills - 6.656 @ 210.57 mph
5.Bryon Mackey - 6.832 @ 206.04 mph
6. Tom Meheden - 6.902 @ 198.41 mph
7. Derek Menholt - 6.912 @ 201.79 mph
8. Roy Trees - 7.341 @ 187.94 mph
The event winner Trevor Lowe showed everyone that he was a threat to be wreckoned with during eliminations when he ripped a track record smashing 6.338 during the semi-finals which was already re-set during qualifying when Delehay ran a 6.362. Even though Lowe had won the race he couldnt catch Delehay who went into the event in the number one position after taking the number one spot from
Lowe with his win in Calgary, Alberta.
