Jeff Veale to Make A/FD Debut
David Ostaszewski - April 6, 2008
Jeff Veale, and the Veale Racing Team have completed their switch from a blown alcohol dragster to a nitro-burning, fuel injected dragster, and will debut their brand new A/Fuel Dragster at the Division 3 opener at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. Veale, a resident of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, will contend at all of the Division 3 events slated for 2008, and will also compete at several National events during the racing season, including Joliet, Norwalk, and Indy.
The car, a Uyehara-chassied beauty, will utilize BAE blocks and cylinder heads, an Automan fuel induction system, and will apply the power to the racetrack with an East-West clutch.
A family operation, car owners Gary and Sue Veale, Jeff's parents, will also be aided by Jeff's cousin Andrew. Also helping with the preparation, tuning, and maintenance of the car will be Ethan Brown, and Chip Borggren, along with David and Dustin Ostaszewski. The car will be based out of Lowell, Indiana and the Brown Motorsports shop.
