Saskatoon Nitro Showdown This Weekend

 Its a Nitro showdown in the wild west! The Prospector VS The Tachman AA/FC's at SIR Aug 23, 2008.
The annual cruise weekend / alcohol funny car drag race is Saturday August 23, at Saskatoon International Raceway (SIR).
This always jam packed race features a bunch of great IBAA alcohol nostalgia funny cars, 2 Top Alcohol Dragsters, and for the first time in Saskatoon , 2 nitro AA/FC's.
 The Prospector '57 Chevy AA/FC Owned by Mageau Family Racing , driven by Jay Mageau will face off in a best of 3 vs The Tachman '72 Mustang AA/FC owned by Tim Stevenson and driven by Andy Beuchemin.
Mageau previously won this event in 2006 as a alcohol powered funny car, and Beuchmin has many laps at SIR riding his awesome nitro Harley.
The Tachman has run as quick as 6 teens in Mission this year, and the Prospector in the 6.4's . Both teams will be gunning to set the inaugural track record for AA/FC's .
