BEAR’S PEFORMANCE PRODUCTS PRO STOCK DODGE LOOKING FORWARD TO U.S. 131

Oldcastle, Ontario – After a 3 month hiatus from competition the O’Brien Brothers and the Bear’s Performance Products Pro Stock Team came out swinging at the recent Mopar Canadian Nationals in Grand Bend. At that event they pushed the World’s quickest and fastest Dodge Pro Stock into the 6.30’s for the first time. The Bear’s Dodge qualified 10th but could not get around Robert Patrick in round one. The team will now head to Martin, MI for the Torco Racing Fuels Northern Nationals.

Team Co-Owner / Driver Larry O’Brien was very pleased with their performance. “It was great to be back at the track again. We knew it would be tough coming back after a long layoff but we had confidence in our program and it seemed to workout. To run a career best E.T. in less than ideal conditions and in the lane nobody wanted is a testament to how hard this team has worked during our layoff. We are really looking forward to U.S. 131, it is a great facility and should produce some good numbers.” The Bear’s Team will attend a few other IHRA Events this season but will stay close to home. The races in Milan and Toronto will probably round out the season. “We will stay close to home so Wayne can continue his treatments and concentrate on getting 100% healthy” states Larry, referring to brother Wayne’s ongoing cancer treatments.
