Show Me The Money Tour Expands to St. Thomas

HERE WE GROW AGAIN! ST. THOMAS DRAGWAY THE LATEST AND NEWEST STOP ON THE MONEY TOUR
 It is with great excitement and pleasure we are able to announce that the Benson Auto Parts Show Me the Money tour is once again expanding, and this time into the largest population base in Canada, (Southern, Ontario) and St. Thomas Dragway. The dates for the latest expansion will be the July 4-5-6 weekend which just happens to be the US Holiday weekend so hopes are high that we will be able to attract many us based racers who like to run for big dollars. It will also be an opportunity for the stars of the tour to face off with the very best Southern Ontario has to offer and it will be done in their back yard. Over the years a few of the S.O. teams have ventured North and east to compete at the Show Me the Money events that have been happening over the last 12 years and some have actually been regulars on the circuit and done quite well. Jamie Tupper from Tillisonburg, Ontario won his first ever $5000. at Elliot Lake a number of years ago and has been a regular since then following all of the events.  The series which posts the largest single day race payouts and the largest points fund than any where in Canada will now however go right into the back yard of the Southern Ontario racers hoping that we will see one of the largest turnouts in the history of the series. The race which will be held over three days will offer a free test and tune Friday for all weekend entree's as well as a street legal drags Friday Night. Saturday will see full competition in Super Pro, Semi Pro (no box), Jr. Dragsters, Sleds, and Bikes and Street Eliminator. Super Pro drivers will compete for $5000. to win on Saturday with the "no box" class running for $2000. to win. Sunday will see the Super Pro Cars run for $10,000. to win and the "no box" run for another $2000. to win, each day will be separate eliminations. Sunday will also feature all other class PLUS TOP SPORTSMAN AND TOP DRAGSTER, these classes will also run for a separate purses but will be encouraged to run in the Super Pro field as well as timing will be staggered to allow that to happen.  The event will also see a Run what Ya Brung Saturday Night show and the weekend will also be capped off with show cars such as Jets under the Lights and Pro MODS. We are extremely pleased about this newest event and want to thank Dave Mathers the owner of St. Thomas for making this happen, many of the SMTM teams that made their way to the race last October at St. Thomas pointed out they would like very much to have a race there, it is with out question one very, very nice track. The Southern Ontario area has some incredible racers in both Box and No Box and they have proven it by winning here and at events in the US and now the best of both parts of Ontario and Quebec will come together in what should be the best Bracket Race to be ever held. The Tour will kick off the season in North Bay, Ontario which also has a BIG$ announcement coming next week June 20-21-22, St. Thomas July 4-5-6, Elliot Lake July 11-12-13, Luskville Dragway Aug 1-2-3, Luskville Dragway Aug 29-30-31 and Shannonville Motorsports Park Sept 12-13-14. We will be announcing a enhance points fund for 2008 because of the addition of St. Thomas, making what was the VERY BEST points fund payout in this country even better, anyone who travels to these events will be GUARANTEED A POINTS FUND PAYOUT, ANY ONE WHO TRAVELS TO CERTAIN EVENTS WILL BE PAID BONUS MONEY ON TOP OF THEIR REGULAR POINTS FUND PAYOUTS, it is going to be the best payout ever. SUPER PRO, SEMI PRO (NO BOX) JR. DRAGSTERS, SLEDS, BIKES, STREET, TOP SPORTSMAN, TOP DRAGSTER, will all be run on July 4-5-6.
