Joe’s Transmission & TNT Super Series team up again in 2008!
The TNT Super Series is pleased to announce that Joe Boniferro of Joe’s Transmission (Niagara Falls, Ont) has agreed to support the series for a 2nd straight year. “After seeing the success this series had in its first season, we just had to be involved again this year. It’s a tough series with the best local racers competing and that’s who we want to support” said Joe Boniferro. Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director says he’s very pleased to work with Joe for a 2nd year. “Joe is a great resource for the series. He helps me with different ideas to make the series better. He’s my sounding board,” said Ted.
Last year, 44 racers participated in a total of 7 races at three different tracks across southern Ontario & western New York. With the top 5 receiving embroidered leather jackets and a plethora of prizes at the yearend awards night. The series is currently in negotiations with several tracks across southern Ontario and western New York. Look for 7 or 8 dates this year starting early May, points system changes and points fund details coming soon.
The Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series is based on IHRA’s 10.90 Hot Rod class. The series pays round money STARTING WITH FIRST ROUND WINS and has only two exceptions to the IHRA rulebook – No weight minimum and left-hand drive open-bodied cars are allowed.
