The sport of drag racing locally, and on what was called the Show Me the Money Tour, growth has been seen like nothing else in drag racing in this country, and the one thing that is certainly the biggest factor in that growth is the support of Benson Auto Parts. Since coming on the scene 6 years ago the tour has grown not only in numbers of entrants, and numbers of spectators, but also in numbers of events also. With this year seeing the first race to be held in Southern, Ontario, St. Thomas Dragway in London. Yes there is no doubt in my mind that our series growth is completely patterned off the support that we have been fortunate enough to have from Benson Auto Parts. Benson Auto Parts which is the largest chain of Auto Parts Stores in Canada with well over 200 stores through out Quebec and Ontario. Benson also has Machine Shops, Performance Shops (such as the Benson Auto Performance Store in Bells Corners, Ottawa) Marine and small engine, and huge Tire Stores, is with out question one of this country's incredible success stories. It is amazing on how fast this Canadian Company has grown and expanded and with this expansion the support of our sport has grown right along with it through the 99RACE program. Ray McNeely one of the individuals spearheading the support of Drag Racing and Motorsports has been quick to point out that Benson is very pleased with the support and the results they have seen as a company from the racing community. Many of the racers that race, are also very good customers of ours not just through the 99RACE program but through their business's also, Drag Racers like Tom Orr, Randy Urslak, Ray Miner, Bill Harling, Jamie Bridge, and Jamie Clairmo just to name a few own companies that also deal with Bensons. As Benson has grown so has drag racing locally and that is certainly made possible with the great programs that they have given to the drivers, the tracks and the series they are involved in. The 99RACE Program is like no other, as it allows a driver to double his points fund money just by utilizing this option when purchasing ANYTHING from a Benson Auto Parts store or any of their subsidiary companies such as Benson Auto Performance, Engines Extra and Benson Marine. Every racer has to purchase products through out the year, whether is be a set of slicks, a new helmet or a quart of oil, by just buying it on the 99RACE program and spending a minimum of $1000. over the entire year they automatically qualify for DOUBLE the points money in the Luskville Dragway Series, The Quad Royal, and the Benson Auto Parts Show Me the Money Tour. NO OTHER PROGRAM IS LIKE THIS, you are not forced to support it, it is an option but an option that quite honestly you would be foolish not to support. Kyle Jessup is a perfect example of this as he supported the system and in turn received $5000. for his first place points chase position instead of $2500. pretty easy to do the math, and its products and service's you are going to purchase anyway. There is no other program like it, there is no other program that is even remotely close to being as good as this one and we are very fortunate to have the support of such a great company and to be able to offer this to our drivers. It has also been a huge factor in drawing cars from out of town so to speak such as Southern, Ontario, drivers like Jamie Tupper who has been running the circuit since Bensons involvement.
