Pontiac Grand-Am built by F.J. Smith Performance Specialties (Cayuga, ON) ran in GT/BA class in 1998. New engine program for 1999 will put car in GT/AA. 350 CID engine built by Gary Hettler of Montoursville, PA. is factory rated at 300 HP. Car features A.T.I. transmission and converter.

Plans for 1999 include a full calendar of NHRA divisional and national event races as well as Eastern Canadian Stock/Super Stock Championship circuit dates.

Numerous NHRA divisional event wins. Finished runner-up in NHRA Northeast Division points four times and won Division points championship in 1991. Won four NHRA national events including Sanair (1979), Columbus and Indianapolis (1985) and Gainesville in 1986. Most prestigious event victories came at 30th Anniversary U.S. Nationals (1985) and 25th Anniversary IHRA World Nationals (1995). Manytime class champion and national record holder. Team featured in numerous North American racing publications and television spots.
