Ghislain Beaulieu campaigns Quebec's fastest "doorslammer". The 1992 Chrysler LeBaron which features a chome moly chassis, was entirely self built by Ghislain Beaulieu. This car first hit drag strips in 1992. Prior to that Beaulieu, who began his racing career in 1970 raced a Plymouth Barracuda in Super Stock and a Dodge Omni in Super Gas.

The Chrysler LeBaron weighs 2300 lbs in Quick Rod (8.90) trim. Power comes from a 528 CID Keith Black engine which was assembled by Ghislain Beaulieu. That motor features B-1 Head from Koffell's Place. The team employees a JW Transmission, and a 9 inch Ford rear end assembly that houses 4.10 gears. Goodyear rear slicks are also used. In the year 2000, the Chrysler LeBaron has received a number of upgrades including nitrous-injection which will allow the car to run quicker and in IHRA Top Sportsman and local Quick 8 competition.

Ghislain Beaulieu is recognized as one of the Province of Quebec's top rated drag racers. He has consistently had good results at the events he attends on both the NHRA and IHRA national and divisional circuits.

Career highlights include a semi final round finish in Super Gas (9.90) at Sanair's Grandnational in 1990.
