Ed Douglas, a familiar drag racing name on the Western Canada scene for many years took a major step up with his drag racing program during the 2007 season.

After being a crewman for British Columbia's Julien Motorsports for a few seasons, in 2007 he purchased that team outright and then upgraded his license for Top Alcohol Dragster competition, replacing Paul Julien in the drivers seat.

His state-of-the-art Brad Hadman built race car car, features a 451 CID BAE motor. That engine configuration features Brad Anderson Stage V cylinder heads, a PSI supercharger and injector and a MSD 44 ignition system. Power is transferred through a 3-speed B&J transmission and ultimately to Hoosier Tires mounted on Centreline Wheels.

The 2007 racing season marked the team's 7th season in the TAD category and saw them again make significant progress. Each year they participate at select NHRA Division Six LODRS events and regional NHRA national opens. The newly reformed team participated at the NHRA Shuck's Auto Parts Nationals in Seattle (which was Ed's first ever national event competition in the TAD category) for which they qualified .

The team continues to gain confidence, build experience and is focused on becoming a serious player within the demanding NHRA division class. Performance objectives for the team are for consistent runs in the 5.4 secs zone and over 260-mph.
