During the 2007 racing season, Rocky Delicce, who lives in Woodbridge Ontario, quietly and effectively came from being a relative unknown name to grabbing headlines and making Canada proud when he prevailed to win two major Street Car Championship titles.

Delicce prevailed in the Outlaw 10.5 Super Street category for both the six-race NSCA series in the U.S.A and also for Toronto Motorsports Parks’ 5-event Street Legal Shootout. Remarkably, the titles came in what was Delicce’s first full season in the Outlaw 10.5 category.

Delicce credits his talented supporting cast and sponsors; including crew members Angelo (crew chief) and Emilio Aceto who are the owners and operators of Midway Automotive, a reputed and top notch engine building facility which specializes in naturally aspirated, nitrous injected and supercharged engine programs.

The team’s associate sponsors include Moore Fabrication, Hutch Transmissions, and Mike Taylor (Tailored by Mike).

The team also receives valuable engine assembly, dyno work and tuning advice from Canada’s Al Billes for their alcohol burning 526 CID Brad Anderson-powered machine.

Rocky was also selected as the 2007 RPM Magazine Editors Choice Award winner and was nominated for DragRaceCanada’s 2007 Sportsman Driver of the Year
