and custom industrial applications. S.M.R. TRANSMISSIONS &
CONVERTERS products are fully blue-printed, offer improved
lubrication and shifting qualities and are designed to overcome
any inherent weaknesses of stock configurations. All S.M.R.
transmissions are fully guaranteed for one year.
S.M.R. TRANSMISSIONS & CONVERTERS
specializes in modified Chrysler Corporation transmission
applications including 904, 727 and 518 series models. Beefed
up versions of General Motors Turbo 350, Turbo 400, Street
Pro 700 and Powerglide transmissions are available. S.M.R.
also modifies Ford C4 and C6 automatic transmissions.
S.M.R. manufactures adapter plates
which allows convenient overdrive bolt on to big block Chrysler
motor applications. SMR’s "Ultra Flight"
3-speed torque flight for Chevrolet engines and is designed
to handle 1400 HP. S.M.R. TRANSMISSIONS & CONVERTERS
sells components, valve bodies and rebuild kits for most
rear wheel drive applications.
