Lowdown Hot Rods

Lowdown Hotrods has been in business since 2000, owned by Tom and Linda VanDerGeld. They gained this experience from building their own spectacular creations, including a Pro-Street 1934 Ford Coupe (front cover of Hot Rod magazine 1992 and featured in Rod Action) and a drop dead gorgeous 1932 Ford Hiboy roadster. Before opening their own shop 6 years ago, Tom had 10 years and Linda with 3 years of previous experience which includes working at Horton Street Rods. Tom has also been involved with two drag racing teams, Al Hinds' Pro-Mod Camaro and Gary Irving's Nitro-Coupe '37 Chevy, which was built at Lowdown Hotrods. As the company grew, so did the required work space.  In 2005 we built our own 6000 sq ft building to accommodate the space requirements.

With a versatile team, each bringing top notch skills and experience in both hotrods and race cars.  Each team member has been involved with building, racing or both to gain the invaluable experience needed to be successful.  To see all the projects that Lowdown Hotrods has built or been involved with, check out their website at www.lowdownhotrods.com.
