Carl Spiering of Carl Spiering Motorsports has joined forces with Terry Vince of Competition Speed Racing Engines to provide a facility for all forms of Racing to DYNO test their equipment and do development work. A state of the art facility is being completed as we are printing this article. This facility will have the capability to test engines from 10 hp to 3000 hp on the new Dynamic Test Systems DYNOMETER. Yes, this means 1, 2, or 3 stages of NOS or Single and Twin Turbo motors, as well as all Outlaw Pro-Modifieds and any competition engines.
Terry, who is well known for his successful machine shop services, is also re-locating Competition Speed Racing Engines & Machine Shop Services to the Jordan Station facility and will be expanding his business to include Sprint car engines, road racing and drag racing. "I feel that my knowledge of engine development and Carl's years of working with drag racing and his combination of running with Nitrous Oxide as well as Supercharged and Aspirated Methanol, gives us the combined knowledge and experience that will give our customers the edge they deserve," states Terry Vince.
"When I began working with Terry, I was well aware of his years of building engines for Oval track racing and had seen his ability to make power. Terry worked on our Eaton Cutler-Hammer sponsored Pro-Modified during the 2004 season. Three to four races into our program, we began to show signs of great things to come. A brief Dyno session provided us the necessary power to put us in the front of the pack and even produced some career best numbers. Terry's desire to produce only the best possible machining services and his extensive development in cylinder head flow work, combined with our desire to give the customer what they want, makes this facility exciting for the future of many racing teams in the years to come," states Carl Spiering.
